2009 brings Ashbrook Haynes’ latest collection of original music, “Not So Fast”. More up-tempo and intricate, “Not So Fast” remains rooted strongly in the melody and vocal harmony for which they’ve become known, coupled with fine production. The band was happy to have Jay Geils record his signature slide guitar on the track “Too Close” with great results. “Not So Fast” is as fun and accessible as A-H’s previous recordings, while still showing growth and depth in the songwriting team of Rines/Stanley.
