D. Rob Enson is a “Jack of all trades”. Producer, songwriter, rapper and singer are just a few of the hats he adorns from time to time. Understanding that he may or may not be “industry material”, he decided to go at it independently. He feels that with technology being at the level that it is currently, there is no reason for art to wait. The time is now, Nsight is here.
Born in Indianapolis and raised in Atlanta, D. Rob brings a differing outlook from most of his southern counterparts. His love for music started as a youth. He began as trumpet player in the band and a tenor in the school chorus. By the age of thirteen, he had begun writing R&B songs as well as raps and DJing at venues such as Morehouse and Spelman College. It didn’t stop there. During his college years at Georgia State University, he became an on-air announcer on the schools highly rated radio station, WRAS 88.5 FM. Currently, Mr. Enson is the Program Director/Music Director/Production Manager of a radio station in the Atlanta area.
Nsight is a compilation of music recorded by D. Rob Enson over the past couple of years. Entitled “Nsight”, this album hopes to shed light on D. Rob and his struggles as an everyday “average” man. Through the listening of this album, he desires that people can begin to recognize their own complexities while understanding that everyone is entitled to their own emotions, thoughts and dreams. This is only the beginning for Mr. Enson and he hopes you come along for the ride.
