In The Dream Stone you will hear a variety of moods and styles, many influenced admittedly by artists I''ve grown to admire. Vangelis and Jean Michel Jarre come to mind but only, I hope, subtly. Most of the music in The Dream Stone is upbeat and frankly a little whimsical, but there are exceptions like the menacing mood of Nightstalker and the gloomy Nightwind. I tend to use a symphonic style, massing sampled sounds and adding electronic elements to build mass and sonority.
