Details:
The music from Drivin is a unique mix of hip hop. With influences in Hip Hop, Punk Rock, Alternative Rock, and Electronic music, Drivin brings an original sound to the music scene. Drivin records both live instruments and synthesizers to create a live, bass driven sound to his recordings. Ranging from deep bass beats to fast punk rock riffs, Drivin busts out rhymes over a wide range of music.

Residing in Huntington Beach in the OC, Drivin has been a part of the underground music scene here for years. Originally playing guitar and bass guitar in various SoCal bands, Drivin now brings his bass guitar riffs into the hip hop being produced today. In 1997-1999, Drivin played in various garage bands. In 1999-2000, Drivin was the rhythm guitarist for the Punk Rock band Shamus O''Neil. The band put out a full length split CD with the band ESL, and CDs have been sold to fans throughout the world. In 2001-2002, Drivin went back to his instrument of choice, the bass guitar with the band called The Low Lifes. The band released one self-titled album that was compared with various 80''s punk rock bands. During 2002-2004, Drivin joined up with the singer/guitarist from ESL and his brother to form The Dead Beats. With a full length CD, the band had a punk/alternative rock sound. Also, in 2002, Drivin began writing hip hop in his spare time away from the band. He soon realized that his diverse musical background gave him an original sound. He had influences in old school hip hop groups like a Tribe Called Quest and De La Soul. Old school punk rock influences included Social Distortion, Bad Religion (80-85), Minor Threat, Descendants, Adolescents, and Youth Brigade. The electronic influences include Mushroom Jazz, Deep House, and Progressive House. Some modern influences include the Kottonmouth Kings, Insane Clown Possee, ABK, Anti-Flag, Beastie Boys, and the Bloodhound Gang.

In 2005, Drivin released his first solo full length album - Part 1. Upon release of the album, he began playing venues and clubs as a producer and MC. The second full length CD, The Hand I''m Dealt is expected to be released this summer.

You must hit life full throttle, go after whats important, and live with no regrets. Words that Drivin and us all could live by.
