If you are looking for a breath of fresh air in an industry full of smog, you''re in the right place. This album was written, produced, & performed by The Father, The Son, & The Holy Spirit. Trust me, I’m not just writing these words because it’s the thing to do. And I take pride in having an album in which every word, line & song are true moments taken from the pages of my life. Not many artist in any genre can say that with it being a true statement.
Don’t get me wrong, my life is lovely and I have other projects in production reflecting that, but this composition is well needed for everyone, but mainly for God’s soldiers in the wilderness going thru the same things I went thru, and still go thru; but they don’t feel accepted or welcome in today’s churches. Therefore, their not getting what they need spiritually. A lot of us in church ain’t gettin’ it either. I keep it 100 in everything I do so I’ma give it to ya’ll raw and uncut like God told me to. Remember; the disciples were worse thugs than most today. God uses different souls for different assignments. I’m not a holy hip-hop, gospel rap, traditional rap or R&B artist. The originator of T.H.U.G. G.O.S.P.E.L. (teaching helps us glorify – God’s only son preserved eternal life), my music is “Come as you are” music and it is what it is. And as I lace the world with anointed game directly from Jesus to myself and from an O.G.’s perspective, the battle of good vs evil is very real. No, matter fact; Hell naw it ain’t fun when you’re the one actually going thru it, but despite my personal trials, if I can help someone get closer to God, then my struggles in life haven’t been in vein. I’m far from perfect and make the same mistakes as you, but the beautiful part is only God can judge me. If I could, I wouldn’t change a thing because every piece of my life is needed to complete the puzzle of a great man. I’m not there yet, but I’m one step closer!
