“Portrett” or Portrait is the realization of a dream. I wanted this album to be as versatile as my career, hence its title.
It is a portrait of my career, with my favorites top twelve songs. I have been so fortunate to sing it all; opera, Lieder, musical theater, popmusic, cabaret songs, folkmusic, you name it!
I believe that whenever we work at something that inspires us, about which we are passionate – in my case singing and anything concerning the human voice – this is what happens: everything falls into place and we are guided to the right people at the right time. I am extremely grateful for the way things have worked out and for all the wonderful people who have helped make this dream a reality.
Portrett has already received raving reviews from critics and listeners, for which I am so grateful.
