This is my first solo project which resulted from years of performing as a spoken word poet, leading to my singing professionally. I never had any professional training...just ears, and what I hear in my head. Got a keyboard, learned to sequence tracks in about an hour, and I haven''t been able to stop! I''ve always been a diverse music lover, especially of acid jazz, and coming from New Orleans gave me that genetic by product of musical knowingness that happens when you live in such a cultural environment.
