The album represents the collaboration between Seattle guitarists Eli Rosenblatt and Cameron Peace. Resisting the mold of a traditional classical guitar duo, the two musicians draw on diverse influences to compose original music that is difficult to classify. Listeners familiar with the sounds of klezmer and gypsy traditions will recognize their prevalence within the music. Those who have heard the music of Mali or Cuba will likely spot it''s part within the songs. Fans of jazz will also hear that language being used. And listeners who enjoy the texture and approach of a classical guitar duo will find the aesthetic within the record. We are hesitant to call this project "World Guitar", only because we find that term exceedingly vague. However, in many ways it is not far off the mark. If you enjoy original guitar music with global influences, you will enjoy this record.
