Details:
1. KIM WATERS- The Dress
Based on the music of a traditional Irish air, Kim¹s haunting rendition shares the story of a mother reminiscing about her daughters life, while sowing her wedding dress.

2. FRED ALLEY- I Know Where I¹m Going
A timeless rendition by Door County¹s legendary singer, playwright, and theatre producer. Recorded in 1995 and previously released only on cassette, this version offers new lyrics to an alltime classic.

3. CHRIS ALLEY- Nightingale
Chris¹ electric vocal performance tells a stirring tale of a nightclub singer and a salty sailor, with sultry background vocals by renowned Alice Peacock. Recorded in 1995 (in the same batch of sessions as the previous
song) and hardly ever heard before, this recording is a gem.

4. JEANNE KUHNS- Isabel
A poetic offering about Isabel, the artist, who is a friend of the singer. This song is also the opening number of Jeanne¹s new CD, Lost Moth:Found.

5. MARK RADDATZ- Thought Passing Thru
A contemplative song about the meaning of a musician¹s life on the road, performed with cool understatement and folksy elegance by one of Door County¹s true originals.

6. PETE THELEN- Footsteps
Poetry and music fused by an electronic underpinning into a hypnotic performance. A dazzling recording that turns Pete into the Beat Poet of Door County!

7. JAY WHITNEY- How Can I Goodbye
Inspired by a heart-to-heart exchange between a mother and her son as she faces her mortality. Melodiously shaped and set to a funky groove as only Mr. J can do it.

8. LUCY HAGEN- I''m Gone
An intimate sharing about a relationship that has reached its completion. Sad and beautifully sung in an alto cantor.

9. DON THOMPSON- Don''t Stop Pickn
Don is known by many in Door County for his work with both The Peninsula Players (PumpBoys&Dinettes-1995)and American Folklore Theatre (Old Friends-1997; Sweet Baby James-2000). He wrote Don''t Stop Pickn at an earlier time while touring nationally with a well known country band, Ken Carlyle and the Cadilac Cowboys.

10. JULIAN HAGEN- How Things Change
According to Julian, this song is merely a musical reminder. Don¹t get too comfortable or take things for granted because things keep changing. This is what makes it an adventure and a challenge "Hang on and enjoy the ride
while it lasts!"

11. HANS CHRISTIAN- The Water Is Wide (instrumental)
This timeless melody, perhaps more than any other, expresses the serene beauty and awe inspiring scenery of our land of Door...
