“You Have My Praise” by David Grinney
After years of composing music, the desire to record my own CD with original songs finally became a reality this last summer. After words of encouragement from several friends and family members, I called my old friend Rafa who I used to be in a band with in the late 70’s and asked him if he would be my producer and record a CD at his professional recording studio in Fresno, California. He agreed to it and we started recording in June of 2005.
Being in the recording business, Rafa was able to arrange for excellent studio musicians and background vocals to back up my main vocals and keyboard parts on the recording of this CD. I had the pleasure of performing some percussion instruments as well. All of these talented musicians and background singers are active in Christian music ministries and often times are involved with other recordings.
I feel blessed with the gift of music and feel inspired by God to write music for Him, thus the title “You Have My Praise”. This collection of original songs come from personal experiences, from Bible verses (mentioned in the lyric section of the CD insert) and from past sermons.
I hope you enjoy “You Have My Praise”.

David has been actively involved in Christian music since the late 70''s, playing either keyboard or drums/percussion in Contemporary Christian bands in Tucson, Arizona. Since the late 90''s, David has been helping lead worship in a high school praise band at his local church, as well as leading worship for college ministry, men''s retreats, and leading worship for Celebrate Recovery. David continues to enjoy serving the Lord by leading worship and by composing original Christian music.
