This is a conceptual record that deals with a person coming to terms with who they are during a time of crisis. There are no catchy choruses or standard song structure on this record, instead I tried to be true to a given feeling and let the songs write themselves. I was writing about my life. The songs are free flowing, emotional, imperfect and created in a variety of styles, just what you''d expect if you were writing the soundtrack to your own life. It''s "Art" for the sake of art.
The 14 improvisational tracks feature instrumental guitar which spread out beyond typical stylistic boundaries while maintaining subtle roots in a given traditional music genre.
