THE DARK BOB is a pioneer of LA Performance Art. His one-man, multi-media shows combine song, dance, film, storytelling, live on-stage painting and comedy. He has toured the United States extensively with Partectijed (For Everyone), Uncontrollable Love and Tales From The Dark Bob - performing not only at museums and galleries, but also universities, nightclubs, theatres, county fairs, honkytonks and large concerts. The Dark Bob’s music has been produced by PolyGram/Polydor Records, Chronic Interactive Media, The Museum of Contemporary Art (Los Angeles), High Performance Records and his own label MITB Records. His songs, soundtracks and audio-works have been programmed on radio stations around the country and featured in theatre pieces and feature films.– recently contributing to Andy Dick’s upcoming film “Danny Roan: First Time Director” and a feature length Carmen Electra project.
His paintings and sculptures have been exhibited in museums and art galleries around the world. He was recently represented in the major exhibition “Los Angeles: 1955-1985” at the Pompidou Museum in Paris, France.
