Dawayne Stamper, a native resident of Lavaca, Arkansas, has been playing the piano since the age of seven. Since that time, he has accumulated numerous musical accolades, including winning the National Federation of Music Clubs'' state piano competition in high school, receiving an outstanding piano student award in college, and receiving a commission to compose a concert band piece for a local high school band in the spring of 2006. Stamper, now 28, is well known throughout the Arkansas river valley for providing piano music at weddings, church services, and special events.
