Musically, the clean and perfectly produced bare dedication is performed with one can only describe as an eternal sincerity and love. "At the Top of My Lungs", the title track, is a moving and exciting track that reminds of Penn. "A Healing Prayer" utilizes climactic harmonies and memorable melody. "Words for Waking" and "The First Hidden Word" are similar in tone, scope, and performance. It has to be said that one of the toughest accomplishments for a songwriter is to take another''s words and put them to music. When those words are a prayer, with seemingly no rhyme or standard song format, the accomplishment of a melodic and compelling tune is really quite amazing. Well done from the Southern California talent."
