Biography
Although new to the Reggaton Scene, this high- energy artist is no newcomer to performing. Panama City, Panama born, Alfonso Pierre (LYON) has been mesmerizing crowds since the age of nine. It began as simple as winning talent shows from the age of nine throughout his teenage years from songs that he composed.
The streets of Panama that had been his launching pad to stardom, were not always kind to LYON. After witnessing the death of five friends and escaping death himself, He escaped to a deep appreciation for music that would soon change his life. It was time to fully devote his life to his passion and talents. LYON wasted no time when he joined another aspiring artist named Norberto Carmona to form a duo called "Peacemakers". Soon the duo became a group of four and the name was changed to the "Mad Family". The Mad family''s notariety in Panama grew quickly and the group found themselves among top Reggae and Spanish artists such as; Aldo Ranks, Sopouse, El Roockie, Kafu Banton, Pricipal and Las Baby Swing. Although growing in popularity so were the groups creative differences and for this reason LYON decided to embark on his solo career.
In 2004 LYON met his now manager, Henry "The Boss" Yawson who believed in his talent. Mr. Yawson quickly introduced him to BG Records CEO and top producer, Lionel Green. It wasn''t long after that a record deal was inked and his first CD single "Hold Me Close" was released. The hot Reggaeton mix was produced by Elian Davis and also features Maria "Lady L" Kery. Since completing his single, LYON has already opened up for major artists such as Trillville and Mike Jones.
Now in 2006, with a new single and music video underway, the Hip Hop,
Reggae, Latin and Reggaton industry has no choice but to prepare for the year of the LYON.

Aunque nuevo en el ambito del reggaeton, este energetico artista no es ningun principiante . nacido en Panama , Ciudad de Panama, Alfonso (LYON) Pierre ha entretenido el publico desde los nueve años de edad. Todo comienza tan simple como ganando un concurso escolar a los nueve años y continuandolo en su adolesencia con canciones que el mismo compuso.
Las calles de Panama que han sido su impulso al estrellato no siempre fueron sutil para LYON . Despues de presenciar la muerte de sus cinco amigos y escapar de la muerte el mismo .
El le toma una gran apreciacion a la musica , bajo la tutela de su mentor Fernando (Barbero) Caballero , la cual cambiaria su vida.
Era el tiempo para completamente dedicar su vida a su passion y a su talento . El tomo el nombre de “Lyrical Shot”. Es cuando LYON decide viajar a los Estados Unidos . El no perdio tiempo ninguno cuando decide unir su talento con otro artista Norberto (Beroman) Carmona y forman el duo “The Peacemakers” . Muy pronto el duo pasaria a ser un grupo de cuatro y el nombre cambia para ser “The Madfamily”. La popularidad crece rapidamente la cual lo pone en tarimas con grandes artistas de reggae en español como , Aldo Ranks , Sopouse, El Roockie, Principal, Kafu Banton y hasta con artistas de otro genero como las bachateras Las Baby Swing del Salvador .. Mad Family crece rapidamente la cual crea diferencias en el grupo por esa rason LYON decide embarcarse en su carrera como solista.
En el 2004 LYON conoce a su manager, Henry “The Boss” Yawson quien cree en su talento. Mr Yawson lo precenta con el productor y dueño de BG Records, Lionel Green. No se espero mucho cuando se firma un contrato y su primer single “Hold Me Close” es presentado al publico. Con la mezcla y produccion de uno de los grandes Elian Davis y con la participacion de Maria (Lady L) Kery. Despues de terminar su single, LYON ya a hecho aperturas para grandes artistas como lo son Trillville y Mike Jones.
Ahora en 2006, con su Nuevo single y su Nuevo video en camino, no le queda mas a la industria del Hip Hop, Reggae y del Reggaeton que prepararse para el año de Lyon.
