Details:
The Infamous Lost Nation, consists of Royal-T & Mr. Boyd. Best friends since 4th grade, started writing rhymes in junior high as a hobby soon it would evolve into something much larger. By the time they were thirteen they were writing full songs and taking thier talent very serious. People in thier school also had a large influence on them, pushing them to make it official, telling them thier talent was pure. Soon enough Lost Nation contacted local studio Buchanon Recording Complex and recorded thier very first song titled, Mobstar Sighting in 98, which created a nice buzz for the group, then calling themselves E.S.P. Everyday Surviving People. While recording at Buchanon, they were in training, learning the game, meeting important people, working with some of Clevelands elite engineers & learning that thier is alot of shady things going on in the industry. Taking all things into consideration the Nation decided to take matters into thier own hands & began schooling themselves on the music industry. Before you knew it with the help of family, they established thier own little recording studio, in Royal-Ts basement where the fellas spent endless time working on thier natural craft, of composing music & writing lyrics. Soon enough everybody in thier neighborhood was trying to stop by & get down on a hot track. Thats when they realized that this is what they wanted to do with thier lives. As we all know, things dont usually go as planned, the boys were dealing with thier own set of problems. Mr. Boyd was incarcerated on felony charges in an adult penitentary, sentenced to two years at the age of seventeen. Royal-T, on the other hand was still free & getting into trouble, dropping out of school, catching cases, fighting in the streets, just living very rebelious. Though they both were headed in a negative direction, the music never left them, not for one second. While incarcerated Mr. Boyd was writing rhymes and recording lyrics to cassete tapes. Royal-T was doing the same in the world, religously making music, trying to make things right by the time Mr. Boyd was home. Royal-T was succesful in his quest , being offered a management deal with Cleveland based, Ghetto Life Records. Unfortinatly the deal was never made official. Soon after Mr. Boyd was home, first thing they did was contact local studio Fame City. Lost Nation was back & ready to work, they began recording thier debut album "Music Hustlin". Producing the entire album from, beat production, to mixing, to album artwork, they did it all on thier own. Since the release of "Music Hustlin" in 2001, the Nation have went on to accomplish many personal goals. Including making a strong name for themselves on the underground circuit. Producing all of thier own, as well as other artists projects. Booking, promoting, & marketing thier own material, totally independent. Opening for national acts such as Paul Wall, Tech N9ne, D12, Ray Cash, Bizzy Bone, Wu Tang, Too Short & others. Lost Nations future looks very promising & they show no sighns, of slowing up anytime soon. Set to release a new album tittled " So Close But, So Far Away", launching thier own production company, Pressure Point Productions, and in negotiations to become joint partners w/ a state of the art recording facility. The Nation has thier hands full but, are willing to work as hard and as long as it takes, to achieve thier goals & dreams!
