Loose Records set sail in the 70s in the UK and is still sailing. This sampler was produced for the London Calling show held in London in 2006 where we wanted to hightlight some of the exciting and interesting artistes and songwriters we have worked with.

Moon Williams was with us back then and has just started working for Loose again. He also recorded with Xero, the NWOBHM band from London as well as lending his fabulous vocals to the Sangria dance track. You might also recognise his voice on the pop/rock version of Joy Divisions Love will tear us apart as well as a tasty version of the Hall and Oates song She''s Gone.

Two fun tracks are Staggering and the unreleased I want to join the Eddie Stobart Fan Club much sought after by Wurzel fans and never before commercially available.

Listen to The Brendan O''Hagan track as he is an artiste who has also returned to Loose with a album of new alternative country material. Pete Bite, once signed to Mickie Most and RAK, wrote What went wrong for Manfred Mann''s Chris Thompson as well as his own track, Backstreet Boy (featuring Moon Williams on backing vocals). Pete is active again, having left music for film and TV work, and Loose hope soon to issue a retrospective CD from him as well as preparing some new songs

Baby now that I''ve found you was produced by Steve Levine for the all girl group The Kameo way back before he was famous for his Culture Club work and Roland Oliver, from the same era, somehow missed being discovered then but his songs are, once again, offered for public consumption.

The Loose years have been great fun so far -now we need to make some money to fund the next expansion of the label. Why not help us along. Buy a track. Cover one of our songs. Thanks for reading - check out our other albums on CDBaby
