Meet LeNaye Pearson

LeNaye Pearson - a breath of fresh air in Nashville? NO! More like a soft Tropical Breeze.

Youngest of four children, LeNaye grew up in "Tenneginia". Her High School years were in northern Virginia and her college years were in Tennessee. LeNaye earned her Masters in Music from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, she was influenced by performers such as Dottie West and Reba Rambo.

LeNaye arrived in Nashville after playing with the Chattanooga Symphony and Opera for several years. She recalls, "Classical music was terrific, but my heart was in country" After coming to Nashville, she began singing in the studios, recording background vocals on albums (specifically, Willie Nelson''s, Born for Trouble" album). You might have heard LeNaye''s voice on such jingles as Tennessee, Texas or Virginia Tourism. She also has sung on advertisements for CMT and the Nashville Record Review.

LeNaye has fronted for several Opry acts (such as: John Conlee, Bill Anderson, and Jimmy Dickens). Bill said, "LeNaye is such a joy to work with - the audience really loves her".

LeNaye has recently recorded a CD, which is all original music by Bob Payne. The CD entitled "The Best of Two Worlds" is uniquely divided into 5 gospel songs and 5 country. She lives 20 minutes north of Nashville with husband Ron, son Dustin, daughter Anna, on part of the old Jesse & Frank James horse farm, along with the family pet their dog Jesse. What''s in the future,"I''ve played and sang in the Opera," LeNaye explains "my one big desire now is to perform on the stage of The Grand Ole Opry!"

You''ll truly be blessed by her voice. I know I have Been, she is really perfection in motion on this her first complete album.

The Road to Success is often unpaved,
Bob Payne
