Black Dollar Incorporated was founded in May 2005 by Eli ''Akbar'' Jackson and Jerome ''Pimping Rome'' Morgan. The name "Black Dollar" defines black- owned businesses bringing prosperity and support back to the urban commmunity. Black Dollar Incorporated is a muti-corporation company that distrubutes small businesses such as record labels, clothing,movies, dvd documentries,and etc. Black Dollar Inc. is also the home of the Legal Money Family. The Legal Money family consists of two dyanamic duels better known as Da Block Bleedaz and Da Go Gettas. There are also solo artists on the label such as Ricky Calibar, https://www.tradebit.com the first lady of the label Moet.
Other executives on the label that are responsible for Black Dollar''s oncoming success are C.O.O./ A&R''s Edward ''Ease'' Jackson and Ronnie ''Pistol Pete'' Rutledge. They are responsible for all of Black Dollar''s successful shows and upcoming events. " To me, Black Dollar is not just a corporation, but a family. We all are brothers and sister in our eyes and that''s that. It''s about the people, because without them, it would not be Black Dollar.", says Ease, one half of Black Dollar''s A&R team. Jackson, eldest brother of Akbar, clearly believes in Black Dollar and everyone that plays a part on the label. Because Black Dollar is so involved in the community, the citizens of Milwaukee show love and appreciation to the label and supports every project that Black Dollar completes and produces. " I remember the first show we did.", says Moet, the first lady of the label. " At first, everyone was listening to us and didn''t say too much of anything. But when we did our second show at Area 414, everyone was feeling it and it was mainly people who was at the first show we did. When our flyers came out, all the girls was blowing the A&R''s phones up about all my brothers. All the guys was calling for me and it was like we sort of became famous. I enjoyed it and I am very excited. I am praying and hoping that god blesses us, and puts us where we need to be in the music industry which is at the top. And that''s the truth!"
So as you can see, Black Dollar consists of members who are dedicated to the game of hip hop, supports black owned businesses, and most important, gives back to the community. They inspire all people to accomplish their goals and are welcoming anyone to the label that possess the motivation, drive and will to make it in the music industry. "We aint gon never change. Even if we blow up, we are still going to be your average urban african-americans who follows our dreams and are willing to help anyone in the community that is inspired by music and wants to pursue their music careers. We are going to be the ones who put Milwaukee, as well as the whole midwest, on top. Like Ripley said, believe it or not. Because if you believe in it, it will happen.
