NOTE: there are actually TWO seven-song EPs that are included in this package, (esoterikos) and (exoterikos) respectively. Just so''s we''re clear.
Singer/songwriter Brian Frankart is best characterized as a perpetual musical balancing act; always teetering between songwriting/performance and music production through his co-owned studio, 38th Ave. Productions. Even within the realm of musical style, he ranges from soft acoustic songs to lush electronic arrangements. The more folksy side can be heard on his self-recorded and released record, The Art of Being Human. His second effort (that brought you to this page), is actually split up into two different EPs: the first seven songs are Anthropology (esoterikos) and the last seven make up Anthropology (exoterikos). These EPs display a much more refined approach, covering the spectrum from Buddhist alt-rock to dark, classically inspired tracks. All three cds are self-recorded, produced, and released, serving as the holistic application of an artist to his music.
