Four Guys with Brown Hair is the collective brainchild of Bob Arnold, Bryan Kopta, John Ramsey, and Matt Reed. The foursome met in 1999, during their freshman year at Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee. The following year, they performed at the annual Rhodes College Rites of Spring festival, alongside the likes of Vertical Horizon, Cary Pierce, and Pat McGee Band. In 2002, Four Guys with Brown Hair recorded their first album, Blatant Sarcasm.
