Details:
Fields of Aplomb''s fourth CD, Weoroscipe, is more versatile than their previous releases, yet artistically, exploring harsh metallic sounds on one end and light ethereal soundscapes on the other. "Weoroscipe developed as the band''s dimensions expanded," explains keyboardist/songwriter Carolyn Baxter. "We are constantly challenging each other to broaden our minds, as well as the audience. Weoroscipe helped us evolve; the lyrics are more direct yet, at the same time, ellusive for a more individual interpretation."
A dark piece of work without pretense. I am disturbed yet seduced by the decorative music.

There are moments where you find yourself scared and moments where you find yourself at peace. A wide variation of music which appears to to tell a story about loss, addiction, faith, dismay and death. Throughout the CD flesh is mentioned, seemingly, as a connection between the songs and passage between solitude, passion, hate, love and agony. Fields of Aplomb have, without a doubt, come out with a well thought out release.
