FIN was formed in NYC in 2001, shortly after the 9/11 attacks. Five friends wanted to get back to what was important to them, as many New Yorkers wanted to do at the time. After many personality conflicts, line-up changes, substance problems, yada yada yada, FIN (friends in navigation) was able to get this 6 song EP out to the masses. Produced by Malachi DeLorenzo (son of violent femmes drummer Ficher) and Scott Garry (voc/guit''s) the band played several inspired shows across NYC and toured the west coast in the summer of ''04. Shortly after tour, Scott made the difficult decision to leave NYC and his bandmates, Chris Butler (bass),Jared Kerr (drums), and Carol Sharx (keys) for California.
