Details:
This Baltimore resident started rhyming at the age of 8. His favorite artists at the time were Big Daddy Kane, Dana Dane, Slick Rick and of course KRS1. With more than the expected life experiences, he had more stories than a war hero that prompted him to start writing at the age of 10. Usually things he heard, things he had seen, but mostly about what he felt.

He began his fascination with Hip-Hop. Starting every rhyme with Knick knack patty whack give a dog a bone, Nah dont give him nothing but a microphone. or something like I go on and on and on til the break of dawn, I never stop rapping till you say your word is bond. Thats how Rakim and EPMD started their verses.

In 1996, Finacy wrote his first rap, later releasing his first song "God Knows" with Kariz in Rochester N.Y. By 2003, Finacy seriously decided to pursued his career. He hooked up with a local rapper by the name of Amadaye and created "Top of the World Records", releasing two mix tapes The Wire in 2004 and The Grand Opening in 2005. After two years of recording, performing and developing his sound and style as Finacy, he has successfully released his first solo mix-tape as an independent artist titled Napoleon Complex.

Defining his music would be to call it Grunt music. Grunt is a term which Finacy acquired while serving in the Marine Corps. Their terminology is you will do whatever you have to do to accomplish the desired outcome. Doing it Hard, passionate and getting down right gritty. My feeling is this; grunts cover the majority population in most countries. Grunt Style! From blood, sweat and tears of labor; you do it Grunt Style.

Finacys music has entitled him to be more passionate about the things he speaks of. You can here the anger in his voice, or the sadness in his words. Finacy uses his voice as an instrument to convey the emotion of the track. Not only does Finacy speak of victories, he speaks of situations that show his vulnerability.
