A band whose diverse influences paint a landscape of rock in their music. 77LeSabre delivers the goods. A quintet whose sound changes depending on who you talk to, one must climb into the LeSabre to get a good appreciation for the music. The band started in April 2005 with lead vocalist Jim Santora and guitarist Jason Mento. In June, bassist Paul Pernice jumped on board when suddenly, Mento had to step down. The band searched and found Kurt Dillon. In the meantime, drummer Gregg Bormann was behind the kit. After about a month of practicing, 77LS played it''s first gig at Club 218 in August 2005. 77LS has pressed on from there playing various venues like The Pirate''s Den, McDonnell''s, Double D''s. Conduit, Finnigan''s, Bridgewater Pub and Wood Lanes. The band duing this time added guitarist Ed Hermann to make the band a quintet, branching the sound out evern further. In 2006, 77LS began recording for their debut CD "Ride". In February 2006, Bormann left the band and enter James "Billy" Holmes to pound away on the drumkit. 77LS plans on hitting several venues in South Jersey, Philadelphia and Delaware this year. If your musical tastes crave a classic rock sound with elements of modern rock, hard rock and southern blues, then this is your final destination.
