Influenced by all types of music, their all original CD reflects the different styles and attitudes in the band.
A great mix of blues, rock, latin, jazz and pop, their lyrics are thought provoking and their melodies are rich. The contrast of the two vocalists are striking, however that difference is fitting within the context of the songs. Al Radley smacks of Johhny Cash and Warren Zevon, and sings his songs with a rich, rough quality. Liz Woodworth has a smooth, sultry voice and the two work together surprisingly well. The rhythm section is very impressive, specifically the drummer, Jeff Kriner. Always tasty, yet a definate stand-out, he works without a click track and without a net.
There are some guest appearances on the CD, including jazz pianist Mary Louise Knutson, and trombonist and Hornhead leader Michael Nelson of the New Power Generation.
