"TOGETHER WE CAN CHANGE THE WORLD, ONE BEAT AT A TIME"
CREATION, the band, was formed two years ago by six dedicated fifth graders coming together to play their music. As they grew and their own worlds opened up, they encountered the We Are Family Foundation and were motivated by the message: diversity, understanding, respect and multiculturalism. These extraordinary children together decided that it was time to use their talents to make a difference. Two years later their goals are in sight and these six youngsters from New York City are working to make a difference in the lives of less fortunate children around the globe by creating music that spreads the message of peace and tolerance.
The first CREATION album, "World Without Windows" is inspired by a thought best expressed by the band themselves: "Our wish is that everyone would look through the windows of the world and think, ''Wow, my brothers and sisters in America, Africa, India, Middle East, China and everywhere around the world need our help. What can I do to help them?''" The group continues, "We are the next generation. If we learn to respect and understand each other while we are young there will be hope for a world without hatred in our future."

We Are Family Foundation to help fund a Creation School in Africa. The band chose the foundation based off of their principles, celebrating our common humanity and the vision of a global family. The We Are Family Foundation funds schools in areas badly in need of a place to educate youth. The Foundation also funds US-based students'' travels to those areas to further educate our youth through their experiences helping build the actual schools with their foreign friends.
The kids of CREATION are giving back the best way they know how, through music. Their hope is to encourage kids around the world to work any way they know how to spread the same message: "We all can dance, we all can sing, we all wanna run away and sprout wings, Though there are so many different things, we are all the same!"
