S-P-L-I-T, Connie always was/is SPLIT on what to do in life, who to be, which path to follow, what color hair, to sing, to act, to do both, and on....and on... Well, she did do both -- studying acting in Los Angeles, appearing in dozens of T.V. shows, movies, and commercials. Now performs at venues in Orange County and Los Angeles singing jazz and standards. This CD was a first and very quickly done just to make sure something was laid down before it was too late (as in sudden death)! Born in a coal mining town in Virginia, raised in a coal mining town in Pennsylvania (o.k. o.k., she should have been singin'' country all along!) the rest in So. California. The 80''s took her to Japan for a short tour. Her favorite gigs have been performing for the Veterans on their compuses, including the lockup-psych wards where she mistakenly sang "Crazy" the first time -- it got such a big laugh that it''s a standard to do now! Singing the National Anthem at a Veteran function at a Convention center to 3,000 guests is at the top of her fav list.

As for what do people say about her singing live -- mainly that she is smooth sounding, very personable, down-to-earth, easy on the ears for an entire evening, and definitely delivers from the heart.
