This exciting, spirit filled youthful group was formed out of the memory of their grandfather the late Rev. Moses Carter SR. They started singing at the tender ages of 9 through 15. They have performed at many venues on the east coast. They were originally formed in the small town of Reidsville Ga. Singing at a number of local churches, schools, town functions and nursing homes , they are comfortable being in the public’s eye. This group is versatile and capable of writing there own material. Some of the group members have been ministers of music of several churches in the area were they now reside. God has truly blessed them with the gift of music and graced them with a style that is both refreshing and soothing to the soul.
Common Spirit now resides in the North Carolina area .They have been recording ever since they were in elementary school, so they do not have a problem with long sessions in the studio. This CD is a sample of the group’s talents and the product of many years of performing. Moreover, we know that everything has it’s season. The group is now mature and ready to release the true spirit that is present in all of those who believe in the lord and savior Jesus Christ; that spirit is love. We hope and pray you enjoy this CD which also features rapper "Yachid" on the album title song and that it may be a blessing to you .
