Details:
“SATCHITANANDA” is the first volume of the album series “OMCREATION”. The series captures the essence of “Nada Brahma”, the world is sound and all was created from Om, the primordial sound of the Creator. The series takes audience through the landscape of consciousness behind Om Creation Studio’s debut album “The Way” with twelve soundscapes. Each soundscape corresponds to a particular frequency of vibration manifested into a twelve-minute piece of instrumental and vocal music in a unique scale and note combination. To paint the consciousness of rebuilding the Babel Tower into the soundscape of Om, this album series brings different music lineages together to express its quality of oneness as more than unity in a diverse collective. This sound of Om will then manifest into a landscape of oneness in the design of twelve meditation gardens arranged in the form of a heart chakra inspired by the ideal behind Matrimandir, the soul of Auroville, India, an international city created for human unity with the support of UNESCO.

Hui Ward’s quest for the way to world peace and inner peace led her to Auroville where she discovered Matrimandir, the manifestation of the Universal Mother, the universal creative principle. These twelve soundscapes in the album series are to correspond to the twelve levels of consciousness to be embodied in the design of the twelve gardens. The twelve states of consciousness behind the design of the gardens inspired her to improvise twelve stories for a greater community of seekers for a new paradigm in the world.

Each soundscape is a continuum descending from the world of spirit to the world of matter. It begins with a bansuri solo painting the landscape of higher consciousness behind spirit and ends with human voice describing matter in our body and on the ground. Violin’s heart-resonating vibration brings the higher consciousness down to transform matter by fusing the North with the South Indian classical music lineages and the Indian with the Western music genres. In a similar fashion, our heart unites the Sky and the Earth, two extremes of the spectrum of our existence, like the white Taj Mahal and the colorful Indian weddings into a landscape of oneness with infinite space and time. Through solos, duets, and trios, bansuri, violin, and human voice resonate with one’s spirit, mind, and body to transform their monologues into heart-opening dialogues.
