One day Charlie ended up with a very heavy backpack. This heavy backpack that Charlie carried with him where ever he went, made it difficult for Charlie to run, laugh and swing through the trees with his friends. Sometimes children need help – with large and small problems alike. Children can fall victim to bullies, adults who intend to harm them or adults who are well-intentioned but want a child to “ally” with them against someone else.

The co-authors, MaryAnn Kildebeck and Jodi Hassler are clinical therapists who work with adults, families and children in private practice. Over the years they have both written therapeutic stories for their client’s private use. Recently they have written and recorded stories and have made them available to the public. Each story is set to the beautiful music of Bill Webb.
