Their debut release, ‘Merica is the first album from an original Seattle quartet now living on separate oceans. The album displays the full array of styles that Calmer Than You Are produced over a two-year span as a band. Mainly instrumental, the music ranges from quiet ambience to intense and heavy, with a wide variety of songs featuring double drum sets, poetry, and samples of found sound.
