AMERICAN HEAVY ROCK. Take a twist of grunge, a pinch of metal, a shot of southern rock, and add a big slab of heavy rock. We are best served hot.

10 MP3 Songs
ROCK: Hard Rock, ROCK: Grunge

Details:
Carbellion was founded in late 2004 based on the idea that a band with soulful
eclectic vocals, guitars that are equally comfortable being aggressive and
subdued, drums shifting from tranquil to thundering, and a bass that conjoins them into complete balance can do more with the sum of these parts than by the strength of any one.
In 2005 Carbellion stayed busy playing over 50 shows from March through December across four states. With the band due to complete the first full length album in June 2006 (tentatively entitled “Villains”) and the planned tour expansion to also include Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, and Tennessee, there is just no stopping the rock n’ roll juggernaut.
The initial three song sampler entitled “American Heavy Rock” had opened the door to regional touring and several festival/showcase invites. Among these are Summerfest 2005 (touted as the world’s largest free music festival) on Milwaukee’s lakefront, two Bomblastica 2005 (Maximum Ink magazines birthday party sponsored by Bergoff Beer and Maximum Ink) performances, a label showcase at the Penny Rd. Pub in Barrington Illinois, and a welcoming celebration for freshman at Coe College in Cedar Rapids Iowa. Along with this Carbellion has played shows in support of such national touring acts as Motorhead, COC, YOB, Brand New Sin, Scum of the Earth, Project 86, Halestorm, Shinedown, William Elliot Whitmore, Zeke, Lamont, Trephine, Clutch, and so on over the last eight months. Carbelllion’s previous line-up
(then named Carbon Parlor) had in the past performed at the official 100th HarleyFest for Harley Davidson Motorcycles at the World Festival Grounds in Milwaukee Wisconsin and Summerfest 2004/2003. They also played shows in support of such bands as Saliva, COC, Clutch, The Cult, Gravity Kills, Revis, Ministry, Orange Goblin, Craving Theo, Perv-54, My Life with The Thrill Kill Kult, Seether, and more. This kind of experience has put the band in a position of being highly recommended and sought after for events like those previously mentioned.
Carbellion has received recognition in various forms of media inclusive of radio airplay, published articles, and webzine reviews. They have recieved radio airplay on such radio stations as Milwaukee''s Lazer 103 (recently renamed to “the Hog”) and Rock 102.1, Madison’s 94.1 WJJO, and MSOE''s 91.7 WMSE.
Milwaukee’s leading free publication, the Shepherd’s Express, wrote positively about them in their entertainment section of the August 25th 2005 issue. Maximum Ink Magazine, based out of Madison, featured them in an exclusive interview and accompanying article in their Vol. 10/Issue 7/No. 115 issue in September 2005. Webzine’s such as https://www.tradebit.com, https://www.tradebit.com, and southern France based https://www.tradebit.com and
https://www.tradebit.com have all had beaming things to say about the band and the American Heavy Rock demo recording.
In the last year Carbellion’s accomplishments and accolades have gotten them the notice of several independent labels and company’s interested in endorsing the band.
Carbellion has signed endorsement deals with Halo Guitars/https://www.tradebit.com, Evans drum heads, and the Gray Market apparel as seen on Ozzfest 2005. More than a few liquor companies are also being considered for endorsement opportunities.
2006 looks to be the year that will cement the band’s artistic integrity and marketability and further them in their mission to succeed in rock music.
