the artist known as "tha element" aka "tha calisupastar", is by no means new to music. he was raised listening to music of all genres. it was when he was about 11 or 12 he used to never memorize all of the lyrics to current hits played on the radio...but change the words and hooks to how he thought sounded better. years passed and he never grew a voice for singing, but always stayed changing lyrics and singing his own freestyled tunes. by the age of 14 he had begun to write r&b tracks. he wrote for himself, or he would write beautiful music for the girls in school he had feelings for. he would give them the songs as a dedication. after high school, he did one semester of college, dropped out to work and figure things out. he joined the us army a year later...he met people who taught him how to freestyle and started rapping with homeboys for pleasure. the year of 2000 had him writing rap and r&b, and freestyling as well. in 2001 he began rapping with a military friend of his, they stayed freestyling gaining more skill as time passed. in 2003 he helped form a crew called uka (unknown assassins) and in o4 the group was called ''first offence''. (produced by underground producer named intylekt). the group was a promising overthrow of the current rap game...but the team then blew up to 5 skilled individuals, who eventually fell apart in the summer of 2004. at that point was when he began his solo career and started chasing beats and free studio time. he has currently recorded a high quality demo in tacoma and spokane, washington. he recently released a mixtape entitled ''quiet az kept'' and is finishing volume 2. stay tuned to this artist, he is more than just the music he makes...he is tha element!
