"One of VT''s 5 bands to see." - Burlington Free Press

Part rock and part reggae-flecked jam pop, The Casual Fiasco has a sound that most fans can''t seem to categorize. Transmitting a vibe that owes as much to Paul Simon and James Taylor as it does to heroes like the Talking Heads, the Police , Dispatch and the Allman Brothers, The Casual Fiasco combines quirky lyrics and 3 part harmonies with a roots-rock flavor to create a sound that is entirely their own. The Burlington, VT quartet has been touring relentlessly since their early 05 residency at hometown landmark Nectar''s, logging 100+ dates at schools and nightclubs across the Northeast in less than 8 months.

The Fiasco has shared the stage with acts as diverse as Toots and the Maytals, North Mississippi Allstars, the Slip, Tea Leaf Green, Cat Empire, State Radio and Zox, while regularly stopping at regional hotspots like the Knitting Factory(NYC), the Middle East (MA) and Higher Ground (VT). In Fall 05 the boys hit schools like Union College, Hobart-William Smith, Champlain College, St. Lawrence University, Johnson State, Kent, St. George''s and Princeton University. In January 06 the band will be hitting the road for their most extensive tour to date.

In December 05 The Casual Fiasco released Body Over Mind with producer Jack Gauthier (Dispatch, State Radio, David Grisman). A showcase for the Fiasco''s reggae-infused sound, the EP features several tunes that have become concert staples for the band. The disc debuted in the top ten at https://www.tradebit.com and is available for download online. The band''s debut recording, Prototype (R2, 2004), contains early live favorites such as "Down on Sunday," "Feather," and "Admiral Nelson," while several tracks have found rotation on college and non-commercial radio across the Northeast.

The Casual Fiasco has been featured online at https://www.tradebit.com , https://www.tradebit.com and https://www.tradebit.com. An increasingly hectic tour schedule and online presence has helped TCF to sell over 3,000 independent discs as the band''s regional draw continues to grow steadily. With an evergrowing fanbase, an active street team and a dedication to touring, The Casual Fiasco show no signs of slowing down.
