CATWALK is a jazz/funk quintet that performs all original compositions with a very distinctive EDGE. The group began in 2002 in Santa Cruz, California with guitarist/writer Joe Menichetti, drummer Sid Thompson, bassist Scott Mckenna, saxophonist Doug Rowan and pianist Jay Jackson. Their music incorporates elements of jazz, blues, funk, fusion, rock, latin, celtic and more. Their most recent appearances include the San Jose Jazz Festival, the Kuumbwa Jazz Center in Santa Cruz, as well as the prestigious Monterey Jazz Festival. The new CD "Weather Or Knot" is now available and features 11 of their best tunes.
