Catclaw Creek is an old-time string band perfect for church picnics, family reunions and private parties. We are a fun, light-hearted group and we always leave ''em smiling.
Listen to our latest CD, Texas Frontier. Included are gospel favorites, songs dear to West Texans as well as to natives of Abilene, Texas, our home town. The CD has some original tunes and even a couple of instrumentals.
Members of our group include: Taylor Rankin (appalachian mountain dulcimer, percussion) Bill Casey (guitar, kazoo, bangitar, vocals and bad jokes), Herb Grover (guitar, vocals and impromtu dance), Greg Young (upright bass, vocals)
Matt Casey, son of Bill and Nancy Casey, makes a cameo appearance on this CD. Way to go Matt!
