Face To Face Songs

Details:
William and Marlene Travis have always been, and continue to be, obsessed with music. William was a musician from as far back as he can remember. When he graduated high school in 1973 and left for the Air Force, he joined up with two other friends and formed a rock trio ETR Express, where he played bass guitar (his first love of all the instruments he plays). ETR Express became enormously popular, and developed a strong following throughout southwest Ohio and northern Kentucky.

After leaving the Air Force, and ETR Express, he met his wife-to-be, Marlene, while at an audition. Although Marlene was actively involved in a modeling/acting career, her passion was still her music and singing. Her voice and title have been compared to the late, great Karen Carpenter. Throughout high school, she sang in every school and church choir available, and traveled with the Youth for Christ choir. While in college, Marlene sang with the Tempos choir. In 1974, Marlene and the former bass player for the Imperials formed Son Company, which traveled the east coast and produced one album. It was in 1977 that Marlene met William.

In 1979, William and Marlene formed the contemporary Christian band "Trilogy". Trilogy became one of the most popular contemporary Christian bands in the Ohio, Pennsylvania area, and was regularly featured at large community Christian events. Trilogy was also the requested warm up band for Dan Peek (formerly of "America").

During the late '80's and early '90, William and Marlene served in church positions including senior pastorates, throughout south Florida. God had used them to develop praise and worship bands. They realize the importance of music and worship in any ministry. Throughout William and Marlene's ministry, they formed and developed praise and worship bands and orchestras in several parts of the United States.

William, an accomplished songwriter, along with Marlene who assists with lyrics, have developed a unique title of music that, to say the least, is quite diverse. Their music is bold and worshipful. The lyrics send an uncompromised message of truth and hope. William and Marlene strongly believe that in this day and age when the vast majority of songs sound the same, Christian music today is screaming for a new and different sound-one that stands out from the crowd. For this reason, 60 A.D. was formed. 60 A.D. is that sound. They have one goal, and one goal only: to be the absolute best in order to reach as many people as possible with their music.
