The Curb is the mutual brainchild of Chris and Hillel Arnold, two brothers raised in a radical Christian community in the strip-mined backcountry of southwestern Pennsylvania. Their music is steeped in the secular and religious folk/blues traditions of their childhood. Yet these songs are played with an edge, one that stems from the brothers’ affinity for full-bore rock and roll.
