Chantella – Female Hip Hop Rapper/Singer/MC and Writer is a Native Houstonian born on the Northside of Houston, raised in Southwest Houston and resides in Southpark Texas attributes her diverse talent to God. I have been called a Diva of many trades. I’m a young Black, educated 28-year-old female that brings to the Entertainment Industry a wide variety of talents. I’m a female Rapper, Singer, Dancer, MC, SongWriter and Business Owner.
Being a mother of 2 boys including a full time job in the Insurance Industry motivated me to get on my “Diva Hustle” and invest in my own career and take it to the next level. A single mother of 3 daughters raised me. If you have never seen “Black Charlie Angels” then you haven’t met my 2 sisters and me.
The creativity and talent comes was an inherited trait from my parents. My father is a musician and a professional Body Builder/ Personalized trainer out of Kansas City, MO. My Mother has a voice like the gospel artist Shirley Caesar. So you can imagine the type of exposure I was blessed to receive early on: Gospel, Blues, R&B and Rap. When my parents were together I could remember watching my dad play the Electric Guitar and the Piano or Organ depending on the mood while my mom sang. I’m on a mission and definitely not knew to the game.
My mission is to let my voice be heard to other Diva’s across the globe whether black, white, Latino, Asian etc., that the hustle never ends. My definition of a “Hustler is not standing on a corner” It’s your everyday female that’s taking care of family – kids, mom, dad, grandma etc. A hustle could mean working two jobs and trying to have a side gig to make ends meet. My songs are more motivational than controversial. I can’t be labeled because my talent is so diverse. My songs don’t put down the average man, but it does school females on how to become a Diva and stay on their “A” game at all times. It gives them advice through my trials and how I came out of my struggle.
Although I rap and sing this is just a career and something I love to do. I have a high power that gives me a million-dollar mouthpiece to get my message across. GOD + Chantella = $uccess.
