A British citizen, Cedrik Michel was brought up in Paris, France. At 17 years old he formed his first Rock band which he named Les Enfants De La Patrie (The Children Of The Country) after the French anthem...
The first CD : La Confiture Aux Cochons (Jam For Pigs) was produced by the band and distributed by New Rose (The Clash).
After two years on the road, the group separated and Cedrik went to live in London where he sang and played with various bands, learning and perfecting his trade, while working on the radio (Chelsea & Westminster) and on television (Channel 4) as a presenter, in front of and behind the cameras... Cedrik Michel was one of the first artists to be offered a deal with https://www.tradebit.com, for the promotion of his songs on the internet.
In January 2005 a new CD Democradura was released : twelve original rock songs with lyrics in English, French and Spanish. (The CD is available one the artist''s official website : https://www.tradebit.com
Cedrik Michel now lives in Spain and still has a base in London. Some of his recent gigs have been aired on local TV stations and his songs are often played on the radio.
His largest concert this year was at the Benamocarra Football Stadium (3500), opening for Sergio Contreras.
A new CD is due for release in March 2006. The recording of it will take place in England and will begin in January 2006.
