Jazz in Blume is the premiere jazz band on the North Olympic Peninsula playing your favorites from the classic jazz/swing era. Vocalist Tracy Blume heads this stellar line up of musicians. Joining her are Ed Donohue/trumpet, Jim Rosand on piano/bass, Ray Wood/guitar and rounding out the fab five is Tom Svornich on drums.
Formed in 2004, this quintet of diverse and talented musicians has kept jazz alive and well in an area where country and bluegrass reign supreme. The release of “What a Wonderful World” in May of 2006 marks the first CD for award winning Jazz in Blume. This new CD is being met with rave reviews by young and old alike. With the delightful mix of familiar tunes there is a little something for everyone.
Paul Bragg of radio station KONP (1450 AM) was so impressed with the musicianship of the group and Tracy’s crystal clear vocals that he featured cuts from "What A Wonderful World" on his Sunday evening radio show, Making Memories, the entire month of June.
