Details:
JAMESTOWNE''s highly anticipated second release "More Than You Know", is a collection of eleven new original tracks, plus a clever rock rendition of the swamp classic "Rainbow Connection".

The overall tone of the album is consistent with the band''s style, which is guitar driven with melodic vocals and harmonies, and dynamically expressive with emotion. But the group expanded it''s canvas significantly this time around adding many new instruments to the arrangements, including mandolin, accordion, violin, cello, piano and so forth. Rock legend Neil Doughty (REO Speedwagon) even makes a guest appearance on the record, and plays Hammond Organ on the song "Say Goodbye".

Several of these songs are already a hit with Film and Television, and have landed in programs such as "Smallville" and "Felicity", paving the way for the independent release.

JAMESTOWNE began when Jimmy Mastandrea (Chicago, IL) and Kip Theno (Indianapolis, IN) set out to form a band that would reflect their "Midwestern Rock" roots.

Hence, the group''s name came from a Mellencamp reference.

They eventually met up with Neil Sebba (Cape Town, South Africa) and Leif Davidson (Orange County), and made a home for themselves in Los Angeles.

The band''s first real breakthrough came when they were introduced to producers James "Jimbo" Barton(Third Eye Blind, Rush, Crowded House) and Mike Reilly (Pure Prarie League), who helped shape JAMESTOWNE''s first album ("self titled"), which sold over 2,600 copies.

But things really started to take off for the group when they were invited to perform as the LEVI''s FIRST STAGE act for the BRIAN WILSON/PAUL SIMON NORTH AMERICA TOUR.

Shortly thereafter, television shows began to catch on to their music and featured numerous JAMESTOWNE songs throughout their episodes, and eventually on the DVD releases.

The band continues to perform throughout Southern California, and is supporting the release of it''s second full length cd, ''More Than You Know''
