Through the written words and musical phrases presented, the recital program ventures from the freedom and exuberance of youth and love, along the inevitable path of discovery, loss, renewal, and the yearning for eternal fulfillment.
Shakespeare reminds us in one of these texts that “youth’s a stuff will not endure.” Therefore, it should be our purpose to seek out something that does.
