In contrast, the soaring vocals on “Touch The Sky” and “Edge Of The Sun” will carry you along on a tidal wave of punchy lyrics and tunes you can easily sing along to if you feel inclined. The final track, “Owed To Jimmy” is a tribute to the great Jimmy Page, one of Gerry’s own favourite guitarists. There’s also a hint of John Martyn peeping through on “The Elder”.
