S.E.T. Productions is based in Washington DC and was founded by former BET Producer J. Sun. He and partners E. Wilson and V. Childs formed the company in 2003. After many successful television shows and underground mixtapes in the DC area, the company has released their first film in 2005. Somethin'' About U is the brainchild of J. Sun. The film unfolds the chilling tale of a young woman trying to find her way amongst various obstacles that come with inner-city living. The film recieved great recognition in DC and the soundtrack is full of beautiful sounds and tones that make it hard to call it a hip/hop album.
