A Berklee College of Music graduate, Jim is quite at home in a variety of musical styles and instruments. A former drummer for the New England party band, "The FOOLS", best known for their classic tunes - "It''s a Night for Beautiful Girls"; "Bite It!" and "Life Sucks, Then You Die", Jim could not help but be influenced by the band''s unflinching, in-your-face brand of hilarious antics, backed by outstanding musicianship.
Jim''s lyrical content covers anything that is in his head at the time he''s writing, from love songs to his wife and family ("Heather" - "Through the Glass"), to playful jousts at line-dancing ("Dominoes") and skinny people in front of him at the buffet line ("Bare-Boned Baby"). This CD, "Me, Too" is a perfect example of Jim''s willingness to lay all his feelings out there for the world to take in and do with what they will.
