This band is a labor of love. It''s different while remaining always a joy to listen to.
I''m a free lance Los Angeles musician which means that I can be called to do a wide variety of music.
As a sometimes contractor/leader I''ve been asked to put together musicians for events like a Pop Orchestra of thirty great musicians to perform for a post July 4th concert or a small jazz combo to play for an awards party. And, many things in between.
In my own ten piece jazz band I play bass trombone and baritone horn as well as occasionally sing. In the small jazz combos I put together I play tenor trombone and sing.
That''s the life of many free lance players. It''s interesting, challenging and guaranteed to keep you on your toes. It''s also great fun and I can''t imagine doing anything else
