Details:
Jenn''s first live album, "Live on the Blue Planet" features five new tunes never released, one live version of "The Garden Song" from Jenn''s 2001 release "In The Pool," and eight terrific live covers of some of Jenn''s favorite music.

This CD was performed, recorded and mixed at The Shop in Spokane, Washington. It used to be an auto garage, and is now a coffee shop/venue/recording center. These cuts were recorded from the fall of 1999 to the summer of 2001. This disk was recorded live to Pro Tools Digital from Jenn''s onstage mixer. Jenn played a 1974 Martin D-35 guitar and an arch-top Epiphone Emperor.

Jenn Adams was born to nomadic parents, travelling the steppes of eastern Montana and raising pygmy goats. Jenn learned to play the baklava at her father''s knee, as she assisted with guarding the herd against bands of marauding beaver. From there, it was a short step to playing the... NOT! OK, now that we have your attention... What Jenn Adams is, is an award winning, nationally acclaimed, touring singer-songwriter with one of today''s most original sounds. Succesfully carrying on the storytelling tradition of 60''s folk rock, Jenn twists the corners of folk, blues and jazz into immediately personal and inviting songs. Fiercely talented, elegantly skewed, Adams establishes an inspirational, thought-provoking sound that''s clearly her own.

She has been a Rocky Mountain Folks Festival finalist, a winner in the KRCL Utah Songwriters Contest, and was named one of the "Best Unsigned Artist" of the year by folk radio powerhouse Rob Reinhart of Acoustic Cafe. Both her debut CD, Water, and her latest album, In the Pool, have been released by Europe''s foremost specialist in roots, folk and blues music, Taxim Records.

"If you haven''t seen Adams play, you''re missing one of life''s greatest pleasures; from the first note of the opening song, she has you hanging on her every word."
- Greg Tressel, Rogue Theatre Productions

"Lots of artists attempt to fashion a thoughtful blend of folk, blues and jazz, but few do it better than Jenn Adams... Writes passionate songs that brim with confidence, elegance and restraint. Centered on her own acoustic guitar, the arrangements on In The Pool are then colored with splashes of accordion, harmonica and horns, along with electric guitar, bass and drums... Showcases the subtle power of her singing... but it''s Adamss original songs that make her an artist to watch."
