Notes about the album:
In recording "Devil Got My Mind" I thought it best to keep the production minimal. I used an old analog tape machine and set my equipment up in the studio as if it were a live show. I wanted to create a record that had a raw delta feel to it. I felt the songs would be best served that way.
For instrumentation I used my old Gibson es-125 semi-hollow body guitar, a custom built late ''50''s Fender Deluxe tweed amp and a homemade stomp board with a tamborine duct taped to it for percussion. On "Amazing Grace" I used a Gibson Dobro. All the songs were recorded live to tape with no over dubbing or special effects.
